Meet the founder
Hello! I'm Sheena and the founder of The Family Time Concierge. My background consists of:
- a successful career in Investment Banking 12+ years as a Treasury Risk professional
- am a qualified Charted Management Accountant
- running a vinyasa yoga, pregnancy yoga and reformer pilates business
- mummy of 4yo twins
I truly understand the meaning of 'the mental load' and what it means to be both a working parent and the 'default parent'; wanting to be everywhere and do everything, with not enough hours in the day.
Our family of four relocated to Manhattan, NYC in 2022 and I saw how much help there was on offer to working parents. I believe that this is something that we lack in the UK: a service to lighten the load and allow parents to gain some real quality time back without worrying about endless to-do lists.
My corporate experience in the Banking sector has developed crucial administrative, project and time management skills. Working on the trading floor and as a mummy of demanding 4yos, I remain calm under pressure. Being a working parent with a love for excel, I am ridiculously organised, love to build a spreadsheet for any and all research and am a true problem solver.
